A family tradition of food and hospitality

The La Roche story began in London in 1990, when a passionate restaurateur of Egyptian Coptic heritage opened his first restaurant. Inspired by Mediterranean flavours and the belief that every guest should feel genuinely welcome, the family went on to establish restaurants in some of central London’s best-loved neighbourhoods, including Soho, Mayfair and Holborn.

La Roche opened on St Martin’s Lane in 2006 and has since become a familiar part of London’s Theatreland. Today, the same values remain at the heart of the restaurant: homemade food, high-quality ingredients, attentive service and a warm welcome from morning until night.

Whether you are stopping for breakfast, meeting over lunch, dining before a West End show or settling in for cocktails and dinner, La Roche offers a relaxed place to enjoy good food in the centre of London.
